Anaheim, Ca-The LA KISS have been searching for the right combination to make wining a habit. The KISS have made a three team trade with former quarterback JJ Raterink being replaced by 21-year veteran quarterback Aaron Garcia from Jacksonville Sharks.
LA sends quarterback J.J. Raterink, the No. 3 claim spot and future considerations to the Jacksonville Sharks. Jacksonville sends Raterink to the Iowa Barnstormers in exchange for defensive tackle James McClinton & Sharks sends Garica to KISS.
This move will allow a seasoned field general to take the helm and get the ball to the highly capable recovering core. Garcia will have a nice core group to spread the ball around too, and add more fire power to this KISS offense.
Being No. 3 on the league’s list of Top 25 Greatest Players, Garcia owns every major AFL career passing record. During his career, Garcia has amassed 4,381 completions, 7,546 attempts, 60,450 yards and 1,310 touchdowns. He was an Arena Bowl MVP for his winning performance in 2011’s Arena Bowl XXIV.
There were a few other releases and additions over last few weeks but by far this was the loudest move made by the Kiss. Let’s hope the offensive line gives Garcia the time needed to create magic & stay on the field long enough for defense to rest.
“Aaron brings an incredible pedigree and much-needed competitive spirit to LA KISS,” says LA KISS Head Coach Bob McMillen. “He’s been able to do some amazing things in this league and we’re confident he will help us move ahead – both on and off the field.”
Garica will make his LA KISS (2-6) debut on Saturday May 17 against the Pittsburgh Power (5-3) at 3 p.m.
