There are two teams from the Premier league that are Totemham Hotspur and Everton interested in buying Diego Rossi. Totemham and Everton see Rossi as one of the best players since he is showing lots of improvement in in MLS (Major League Soccer).
According to BOLAVIP reporter Kelvin Loyola recently shared his take on the matter of Rossi being up for grabs.
“In the report, Rossi would command an estimated $14 million transfer fee, a fee that could very well push the ideal to the finish line,” Loyola said. As of 2021, Rossi has the highest market value in MLS. On the market value, Rossi would be worth $20 million. Totemham is a bad choice for Rossi because his career will be on the bench.”
When he first joined LAFC in 2018, Rossi’s range was under $3 million. As of today, Rossi is worth $14 million after showing improvement for four seasons with the ballclub.
If Everton, Totemham and other European teams are very interested in buying Rossi, it would have to be more than $14 million because he has accomplished a lot with LAFC. It is going to be impossible in the Premier League because they will let other forwards score more while Rossi won’t get to score as much.
It would not be fair for Rossi to leave and get benched on any one of those big European clubs because the club will take advantage of him.
As of today, this is Rossi’s fourth season with LAFC. Rossi is showing lots of improvement since last season when he won the MLS Golden Boot award (14 goals and four assists) and was selected as the AT&T MLS Young Player of the Year.
Since he showed improvement with the team there is a possible chance that Rossi can be ‘the new Luis Suarez.’ Rossi is one of the best forwards in MLS because he is a quick finisher, who can play up front and play winger,” said Loyola.
Rossi can also play in various positions that can help the team work together. Rossi should stay with LAFC instead of going to the Premier League. The reason being is that LAFC will struggle terribly in his absence, even if Carlos Vela is still with the ballclub.
Vela will be LAFC’s best player if Rossi leaves. Also, LAFC coach Bob Bradly hasn’t mentioned or said too much about Rossi possibly leaving LAFC. It will be terrible if Bradly sells Rossi to either Totemham and Everton because the team won’t be the same without him.
In able for Rossi to stay with LAFC, it is better that he gets good wages and a good contract for him to stay with the club.
In this writer’s opinion, it is good that Rossi stays with LAFC because navigating the field in a MLS game can be a lot easier than European leagues like the Premier League. Playing in a league like Premier League can be more challenging for a player like Rossi.
If he departs Los Angeles, Rossi might not be in the starting 11 if he join up with either Totemham or Everton. It will be a waste of money if Tottenham or Everton buys Rossi since he is showing improvement with LAFC.
Rossi can be on the bench more often if he joined one of the two European leagues. If Rossi joins Everton, Tottenham or other big european clubs it would be a mistake because he isnt going to accomplish anything in the European clubs like how he did in MLS.
Rossi could very easily flop with Tottenham or Everton.
He will continue to be successful with trophies with LAFC. With Rossi staying with LAFC, he will always play his full 90 minutes no matter what team he faces and competitions he plays with LAFC.
If Rossi does leave with either Totemham or Everton, he would never be in the starting 11 as much depending on the team and competition he faces at the Premier League.
It can be easier for Rossi to be the top scorer and be MVP in MLS
LAFC can be one of the best MLS teams of all time if Rossi stays with the team. Rossi is the missing piece who can help LAFC be in position as a contender for years to come.
Tottenham or Everton will be very useless with Rossi on winning titles because they are likely to bench Rossi. If Rossi is transferred, the transaction would make him the top five outgoing transfer in MLS history according to Kristian Dyer.
What Alicia Rodriguez said about Rossi going to the Premier League is that, “If Rossi got a move to the Premier League and played, it would be a huge success for him and LAFC.”
The best part of selling Rossi if necessary is that LAFC will make lots of money. The worst part of selling Rossi is LAFC will lose one of the best forwards in the league that can help the team accomplish something special.
