The road to the College Football National Championship game runs through Pasadena at the Rose Bowl Game for Alabama and Michigan. The Crimson Tide and Wolverines stopped by Disneyland first to celebrate their accomplishments so far this season.
Coaches, players, and family gathered at the theme park to jump on some rides and enjoy the day before regathering their focus. The 2024 Rose Bowl Game on New Year’s Day features the No. 4 and No. 1 ranked teams in the nation and will kick off this year’s College Football Playoff.

“Right now, just have fun with the family, the team, and the players. We are at the happiest place on earth, and we are going to enjoy ourselves and then get back to business,” said Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh.
Disneyland honored the two teams with a parade. Jim Harbaugh and Nick Saban road down main street with their families and were accompanied by some of the stars of each team: Jalen Milroe, Dallas Turner, and Malachi Moore for Alabama and Blake Corum, Mike Sainristil, and Kris Jenkins for Michigan.
“I watched the Rose Bowl a little bit growing up as a kid. So, the fact that we have the opportunity to play in The Grandaddy of Them All is a huge deal to us,” said Kris Jenkins. “Obviously, coming into the National Championship is everybody’s dream; now that we have the opportunity, it would mean the world to us if we accomplish our goal.”
Jenkins holds down the front line for the Wolverines. The senior defensive lineman is one of the best run-stoppers in college football and has 1.5 sacks to go along with an interception and a fumble recovery this season.
The coaches and players will now get back to work, but everyone appeared to be having a great time. Jim Harbaugh was excited to go on some rides with his kids and said his son wanted to go on the Incredicoaster.
