Beyonce pour out her ‘Lemonade’ on LA

LOS ANGELES-There was excitement brewing at Dodger Stadium on Wednesday night.  No, it wasn’t Dodgers pitching ace Clayton Kershaw throwing a no-hitter. It was Beyonce and her “Formation World Tour” hitting a two-hour home-run on the concert stage set up in center field.

The Queen B made a return visit to Los Angeles on the second leg of her tour.  She appeared at the Rose Bowl in May. She had her exotic female dancers in tow, along with a lively band, that kept the audience members on their feet throughout the entire show.

Beyonce’s vocal chops were in solid form as she sang and danced her way through 20 years of material. She decided to kick things off with songs from her current album “Lemonade,” and then took us all the way back to when she was lead singer for Destiny’s Child.

Some of the bright spots from the performance were the songs “Sorry,” “Drunk in Love,” and “Freedom,” during which the 35 year-old-Queen B and her “worker bees” had fun in a shallow pool near the front of the stage.

During the concert, Beyonce paused for a moment and praised her fans for their many years of love and support.  “I’m so grateful to be onstage doing what I love since I started at 15 years old,” she said.  “Thank you for trusting in me and allowing me to grow from my first album.”

She also heartily praised her fans for the talent they displayed while singing-along on some of the songs. Some of her loyal fans came dressed as bees, and Floyd Mayweather was spotted in the crowd enjoying himself, along with Christina Aguilera and other celebs.

Looking back over her 20 years of growth in the music business, one could definitely say that this girl is a woman now.
