EL SEGUNDO, CA-Finally. After a summer-long hiatus, LeBron James made his official Los Angeles Lakers appearance in front of reporters and media members during the team’s annual Media Day event. Other first-time Lakers on the scene include point guard Rajon Rondo, the one-time Boston Celtics star, two-time NBA champ in center JaVale McGee, and defensive specialist Lance Stephenson.
Without a lot of fanfare, second-year guard Lonzo Ball showed with a cropped hairdo. Forward Klye Kuzma look like he’s been in the weight room all summer with a new and improved buffed out body. Of course, Lakers coach Luke Walton talked at length about his new squad and what’s it’s like to have LeBron James now suiting up for the Purple and Gold.
