ORANGE, CA – The 3rd Annual Austin Pettis Foundation Celebrity Basketball Game was a night of great fun, for a great cause. Austin Pettis, with his St. Louis Rams teammates T.J. McDonald, Brian Quick and Trumaine Johnson Red team, won the game 105-103. The Blue team was stacked too with other NFL athletes and celebrities including Raiders Marquette King, Rod Streater.
The night featured four quarters of exhibition basketball, a dunk contest, and a halftime performance by the World Famous “Monster Kids” break dancing crew! Title sponsors Cllctiv Brand and IMKing Clothing were on hand to give out over $5,000 worth of raffle prizes, product, gift cards, and much more! All proceeds from the ticket sales, concessions, silent auctions and raffles went to benefit the Austin Pettis Foundation.

They had VIP tickets for a private pre-game meet-and-greet session with Austin Pettis and featured NFL athletes. The VIP experience includes photos, autographs, appetizers, refreshments and early access to the amazing silent auction items.
VIP’s also received special seating during the Celebrity Basketball game and 5 additional raffle tickets for the in-game drawings, and an original Austin Pettis Foundation Poster signed by Austin Pettis.
The following morning, Pettis had a free Speed & Skills Football Camp at Orange Lutheran. The camp was split in two age groups to allow for specialized training. Both groups received training from NFL Stars to help sharpen their skills. Austin had a morning and afternoon session that benefited the kids.
The Austin Pettis Foundation’s mission is to broaden the life experiences of inner-city, underprivileged and disadvantaged youth by raising money for them to attend various sports camps. The camps provide a complete package of sports training (various sports available) that have a lasting and positive influence.
The foundation knows that great possibilities are started by boys and girls being molded and influenced from attending camps. Many are unable to afford it for reasons out of their control.
By building character and integrity in youths through these sport camps and clinics we can put all children on the path to a great future with hope and opportunity.
It’s always good to see they guys give back and use their stardom to help others along the way. Austin Pettis put on two great events the truly was a blessing to fans and the community at large.
