Anaheim, CA-OK. Here we go. It is official now. The BCS National Championship game kicked off with both Florida State and Auburn making appearances and holding press conferences at Disneyland. Florida State, the No. 1 ranked team in the country, arrived at the Magic Kingdom first.

The first guy up was head coach Jimbo Fisher, who will be making his first appearance in a title game as the leader of the Seminoles. For a while it seemed as if it would be just Fisher and two of his key players-Rashad Greene and LaMarcus Joyner-who would make the trip to the Anaheim, California-based theme park.

But as luck would have it, the rest of the Seminoles, including Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston, made it to ESPNZone in Downtown Disney after travel snags caused their bus to run a little behind schedule. Nevertheless, there were scores of fans waiting to get an up and close view of the top college football team in the country.

Winston, and his 3,820 yards  passing and 38 touchdowns through the air this season, of course, was the top attention draw as cameras and cell phones snapped away in relentless speed.

But the treat was just beginning as the Seminoles’ opponent in the BCS title game-Auburn-slid down to the magical world of Disney a little later in the evening.  Auburn coach Gene Malzahn  and players Dee Ford and Reese Dismukes also got an opportunity to meet and greet Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and the rest of the Disney gang.
