Four nights, four themes for the DNC

The Democratic Party has the ball in their court. With the Republican National Party and their respective convention out of the way, the Democrats will have a lot of sway with their national convention over the course of the next four days.

It’s going to be four days and four different themes at the Democratic National Convention (DNC).

That basically means the Democrats are going to have a four-day party of celebrating Vice President Kamala Harris as their presidential choice for the American people. How that translate into November’s presidential election  is anyone’s guess.

But one thing is for sure, the Democratic Party has been bolstered immensely with Harris at the top of the ticket. The vice president has electrified the nation much in the same way as when former President Barack Obama was making his rounds as a presidential candidate.

“Our convention is an opportunity to bring the story of our party to the American people — not just the story of what we’ve achieved under the Biden-Harris administration, but how the Harris-Walz ticket is planning to build on that historic record for a new way forward into the future,” said DNC Convention Chair Minyon Moore.

The four themes the DNC is following is being advocates for the American people on night one. Day 2 focuses on the vision for the country the Harris-Waltz ticket will bring. On the third night, it will be about fighting for freedoms. The Democrats close out their four-day revelry by addressing the future of the country and what that looks like.

“The story here is simple and it’s one that will resonate with Americans across the country: Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are fighting for the American people and America’s future — Donald Trump is only fighting for himself,” Moore said.
