LOS ANGELES, CA-LeBron James did what he was supposed to do when Kyrie Irving and the Boston Celtics came to down to play an NBA matchup at Staples Center. In just 27 minutes of action, James managed to pull off an efficient evening, going for 30 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds against the Celtics. It’s too bad that James’ great effort was for naught.
That’s because the Celtics got 30 points from Irving as well in Boston’s 120-107 win against the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday, March 9. The Celtics, which got double-digit points in scoring from six players, outscored the Lakers by 16 points between the second and third quarters on their way to securing their 41st win of the season.
