Trojans take road trip after defeat to Oregon State

After coming up with wins against Cal and Oregon, the USC men’s basketball team didn’t fare as well against the Oregon State Beavers in a close Pac-12 Conference game played at Galen Center. Jonah Mathews was high-point man for USC with 15 points against the Beavers. After going on a two-game scoring tear, USC forward Bennie Boatwright could only muster 13 points on the evening.

Boatwright fired up just 11 field goal attempts, making only five of those shots. Oregon State got double-digit scoring contributions from four players enroute to defeating USC by a narrow 67-62 road victory in the Trojans last home game of the regular season. USC now plays the remainder of its schedule on the road before Pac-12 Conference Tournament play in Las Vegas, Nevada. All photos taken by photographer Zane Meyer-Thorton for News4usonline
