CERRITOS, Calif. – The concert by Ashanti was magnificent and spectacular. As I enter the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts Theater, all I can see are stunning individuals of every age, size, and shape.
Then, I was astounded by Ginuwine’s instant connection as he performed his introductory set for Ashanti.
It was an instinctive connection. I felt him reach out to me, and it was then that an indelible moment occurred as my heart dissolved. The connection was instinctual in nature. Moments after sensing his approach toward me, a profound and unforgettable experience transpired: my heart began to dissolve.
The intimate, up-close location of the venue enabled the audience to experience the performance. It was exhilarating.
The performer and songwriter Ginuwine performed several of his most popular songs, including Stingy, Pony, Differences, and So Anxious.
Afterwards, the audience as a whole, went insane. I had anticipated that everyone would be standing and bouncing around, but the seating was so cozy that everyone could sit and appreciate the performance in complete comfort.
It was an entirely novel and enlightening experience. Ginuwine was accompanied by two background vocalists. He stood out and appeared absolutely stunning. “As normal.”
During his traversal of the audience, every woman rushed towards him, vying for his kiss and clinging to his body; he swiftly passed by. As he presented roses to his supporters while singing to them, each moment seemed to last longer than it ought to have.
The audience was satisfied and left wanting more. Everyone in the audience patiently awaited Ashanti’s entrance after Ginuwine’s performance concluded, but the evening was filled with joy, hilarity, and fond memories.
As soon as Ashanti emerged, she was precise. Each and every aspect of her presentation was perfectly intended! The boots, the tresses, and the ensemble. She maintains an identical appearance to when she first began her journey.
She personifies the essence of black lady magic. She is a timeless beauty who embodies perfection. She either does not age or, if she does, does so in reverse. Her vocal quality was radiant, luminous, alluring, and enthralling.
An unparalleled sex allure, captivating vocals, graceful dance movements, physical presence, and presence all contributed to her captivating performance. Having admired Ashanti since my youth, it was an incredible experience to witness her perform in concert.
The sixty-minute concert by Ashanti consisted of nothing but hits, including favorites Foolish, Rain On Me, What’s Luv?, Rock Wit You, and Baby. She performed both her own and the songs she had composed for others, including Into You with Fabulous and Tamia and Ain’t It Funny for Jennifer Lopez.
Coming in at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for a record-setting 10 consecutive weeks, she ended the performance with her hot single, Foolish. Foolish spent 17 weeks in the Top Ten on the Billboard charts.
Ashanti was phenomenal throughout the entire experience. Her performance laid bare her natural talents and stood as one of the season’s finest performances.
