LAS VEGAS, NV-San Diego State’s 34-10 win against the Houston Cougars on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, sent a clear message to the rest of the nation about lower-tier, Division I schools. Leading the parade was running back Donnel Pumphrey, who went over the top as the NCAA Division I rushing champion (FBS). Pumphrey rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown against Houston.
