Red carpet dazzle at 98th Academy Awards

(News4usonline) – The Oscars is the entertainment industry’s Super Bowl. For the 98th Annual Academy Awards, the awards show turned out to be one of equal distribution. No one move could say they dominated.

“One Battle After Another” led the winner’s circle with six awards, besting the prohibitive favorite “Sinners,” which ended the evening with four wins, including best actor and best screenplay. “Sinners” entered the show with the most nominations ever after it had garnered 16 nods.

“One Battle After Another” was right behind the haul that “Sinners” raked in with 13 nominations. All told, it was a spectacular evening with musical and movie superstar Barbara Streisand paying tribute to the late Robert Redford, whom she shared the big screen with in “The Way We Were,” one Hollywood’s best love stories.

One of the best parts of the show came early when Miles Caton led a musical and dance homage to “Sinners” with noted ballet dancer Misty Copeland performing.
