The ‘Shaw gets revenge. Last year, Crenshaw found itself on the short end of the CIF L.A. City Division I Championship football game, losing to star quarterback Troy Williams and Narbonne. The Cougars got revenge this time around, defeating the Gauchos, 20-13, at East Coast College. It was the fourth L.A. City Division I title for coach Robert Garrett, whose team had to overcome a 13-0 deficit. Crenshaw was able to prevail over Narbonne, thanks to a couple of unforced miscues by the Gauchos that resulted in points for the Cougars.
