Music legend @drdre attends the groundbreaking ceremony for @centennial_hs, where a new campus is scheduled to be erected and open by August 2029. The $270 million new school will be opening its doors to more than 1,800 students. Dre. Dre was joined at the ceremony by fellow Compton native @kendricklamar and another musical genius in @iamwill.

Music icons Kendrick Lamar and Dr. Dre attended the groundbreaking ceremony for Centennial High School on May 7, 2026. The new high school project is valued at $270 million and will accommodate more than 1,800 students. The campus is designed with modern features and aims to provide students with a state-of-the-art educational experience for future generations.
