UCLA hits LSU in the mouth

PASADENA (News4usonline) – The final outcome of the UCLA-LSU college football game was not in doubt. The Bruins made sure to leave question marks behind after beating the No. 16 Tigers 38-27 at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021.

Thanks to superb play by quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson and running back Zach Charbonnet, the Bruins scored all of its points in the last three quarters.

Thompson-Robinson completed just 9 of 15 passes against LSU. Those nine completions went for 260 yards and three touchdowns. Charbonnet rushed for 117 yards and a score to give the Bruins a solid run game. UCLA rushed the ball for 210 yards against LSU.

After beating Hawaii in Week 1 of their season, head coach Chip Kelly and the Bruins received their first test.

It didn’t turn out to be too much of a test as the Bruins collected their second victory of the 2021 season. Photographer Mark Hammond captures UCLA’s upset victory against LSU through his photographic lens.
